Hey, I just want to watch TV!

We subscribe to DirecTV which is apparently in a dispute with Viacom over rates for popular channels like Comedy Central, Spike, and Nickelodeon.  Right now on DirecTV's Viacom channels, the two companies are running competing crawls trying to get subscribers to take their side in the dispute.

The Viacom crawl says that after tonight, DirecTV is eliminating 25 channels because they won't pay up.  Underneath that crawl, a DirecTV crawl says that Viacom is trying to raise rates 30%.

It's fairly hilarious.  I just hope one of the two gives up before I miss something important.
