We're very lucky that our area is served by Verizon FIOS fiber optic internet service which is reliable and fast. We've had FIOS for several years at the 35mbps speed and have been able to stream high definition movies without interruption.
Yesterday, Verizon activated their Quantum upgrade for us. Now our download speed is 50mbps and the price actually went down!
Woo hoo!
