WARNING: HARSH LANGUAGE AHEAD
Chinese President Xi Jinping is coming up on the Communist Party's two term limit, instituted after Mao, China's ruthless dictator, died. Unfortunately for the world, the Party just eliminated the two term limit so Xi can serve indefinitely. That didn't work out so well last time, so this is bad news all around.
Except to one American.
“He’s now president for life, president for life. And he’s great . . ."
Yes, this is the President of the United States, happy about China becoming more of a dictatorship.
This is, by itself, horrible and stupid and anti-democratic. Not because China is a democracy, but because it moves them further from becoming a democracy and makes them much more authoritarian, subject to the whims of one man. The idea that a U.S. President would praise such an event would have been unthinkable before this human dumpster fire became President.
But that's not the worst part. Because, nevertheless, he persisted.
“And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday,”

This is the President of the United States (joking?) about becoming a dictator. I'll assume he was sort of jesting, but we've seen enough of Trump to know that there's always some nugget of seriousness in everything he says. He doesn't really have a sense of humor because he's not smart enough to know if the joke is on him. Don't believe me, watch him react when watching something funny. He laughs when other people laugh but looks confused and never laughs at himself. I'm sure he was half serious when he said it.
And here's another fun dose of modern America in the age of Trump.

Please take a minute to seriously contemplate the reaction from Republicans if President Obama had ever said he would consider being "President for life". Oh, you don't have to. They promoted all kinds of stupid conspiracy theories that his intent was exactly that. Because they're hypocritical, unpatriotic idiots who want to be ruled by a know-nothing, banana republic dictator. Because "winning" I guess.
And the best part is, this wasn't even the most outrageous thing Trump said or did this week.

You live a sad life. Obviously he was saying this in jest. It didn't work out for China previously and it won't work now.
Now for a history lesson term limits we're implemented in the United States after a democratic president (FDR) died during his fourth term in office. The limits we're put in place to ensure that one person doesn't gain to much power and control again.
For a liberal who believes that he is never wrong and is so ready to tell everyone else how they should live their lives I'm surprised you want term limits.
Don't get me wrong I'm sure you don't want Trump in office forever, I don't assume anyone does. But I bet you would have loved to have your great president Obama in office forever. That is the crazy logic liberals use, they want to force everyone to do the things they believe while spreading hate about anyone who disagrees. Then you incite violence by name calling and putting wild accustions that are unsubstantiated out there for others to look at...

Nope. Since I actually believe in Democracy (unlike Trump, who was willing to collaborate with a foreign power to get elected) you'd lose that bet. Obama was elected twice for his full eight years. That's all I could have wanted. I actually believe in the Constitution, unlike those who would regularly try to strip Americans of their Constitutional right to vote by erecting barriers.
And Trump was "joking". Sure. The guy without a sense of humor was joking. Keep believing that.
More crazy talk. I know you will want vague references to supposed collusion with Trump and Russia but please state some facts that show Trump colluded with Russia? So far the FBI hasn't been able to find proof in a year and a half. In the mean time Hillary Clinton's campaign did collude with Michael Steele and the FBI during an election to Target her competition, which is proven fact.

You are aware of the ongoing Mueller investigation, right? The one that so far has indicted 22 persons, 4 heavily involved in Trump's campaign and Administration? It's not done yet by a long shot.

And if by "collude" you mean the Clinton campaign hired a company to dig up dirt on a competitor, sure, all Presidential candidates do that. That's not remotely scandalous or "collusion". And regarding the FBI "colluding" with Clinton to get her elected, that is NOT fact. Multiple Congressional investigations found nothing. (And, if they were "colluding", the FBI did a terrible job of it because James Comey pretty much gave the election to Trump. Also, they didn't reveal that Trump had an affair with a porn star. Don't you think that might have come out if the FBI wanted Trump to lose?)
