More like "Indiana Jones and The Desperate Need for an Editor." It's a run-on sentence and the modifier is misplaced. So it's easy to assume the skull would be solid gold, although I wouldn't think that a skull would be built.
And what's your authority for that, Miss Grammar? :-)
A solid gold skull makes more sense than a solid gold city.
