Rep. Kinzinger, who is retiring this year because of the crazy, is one of the very few sane Republicans left. Republicans like to label themselves with the "patriot" label, but this guy actually is one.

I live in his district. There's a reason we refer to him as "Absent Adam." Dude voted with Trump 90+% of the time, and still voted for Trump in the 2020 election.
The fact that he literally got this one thing right after 1/6/21 is no reason to canonize the fucker. He's still very much a fucker and still someone who would strip every gay person of their right to be married given half a chance.
Fair point. He's still a Republican with all that entails. While I appreciate his rejection of the outright sedition of his colleagues, you're absolutely right that he's still a terrible, toxic human being and needs to be replaced with an actual human (D).
