Utter Madness

Take this in. The number one cause of death for CHILDREN in the United States is guns. Not car crashes. Not disease. Guns. Violent death by guns.

But rather than pass wildly, widely popular gun control legislation that at least has a chance to mitigate this carnage, Republicans are going all in, across the country, to ban these "threats to children":

Drag Queens.

Books.

Transgender people.

Actual American history.

The whole point of electing people in a democracy is so that they can react to society's problems and work to fix them. Need to get over a river? Government will build a bridge. People being scammed out of their hard-earned money? Government will pass laws and enforce them to protect you. 

The murder of children, however, is something that Republicans in Congress and state governments will NEVER vote to stop, because they are owned by the gun lobby and Christian nationalism, which promotes fear of everything not white and Christian. In fact, they want MORE GUNS, despite that we already have 1.2 guns for every single person in America.

Just look at this asshat and his family. What a horror show. This is just straight up fear and indifference to human suffering. What the hell does this teach his children? That they must be ready to murder other people at any time? How does this represent "peace on Earth and goodwill towards men"?

Stop voting for people who are indifferent to American children being murdered. Stop voting for people who won't work to solve our actual problems. Stop voting for people who teach hate, bigotry and a perverted morality based on fear and ignorance.

Stop voting for Republicans.
