Barbie

I saw the movie Barbie last weekend and loved it.

It was funny, poignant, amazingly clever, weird and wacky. For obvious reasons it reminded me of The Lego Movie, which is a great thing, but definitely more aimed at adult audiences. I'm not familiar with the whole Barbie toy universe, but the story and humor still really worked for me. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are just wonderful.

The fact that it's making conservative morons' heads explode from all the "woke" is just icing on the cake.

(Just as a reminder, if you're using the word "woke" as a pejorative, you are a fargin icehole and a forking shirtstain.)

Oh, and you should Google either Robbie or Gosling and see the results.

I plan on seeing this, but I know my wife wants to see it, too, and I won't see it without her.

I've said before that I will watch everything Greta Gerwig directs until one of us is dead, and I stand by that.

I saw the film on Saturday in a screening that was largely women with a lot of them wearing pink and I decided to freak people out a bit by wearing a Black Sabbath t-shirt. Man, it only enhanced the experience I went to in watching that film as I had a total blast.

Piers Morgan is a moron and I personally hope he becomes my personal toilet. Ted Cruz and all of these conservative pundits can all go suck dick. The audience I saw it with were having a lot of fun and after the film. They call me "Heavy Metal Ken" and I was like "why thank you!"

SJ, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

It's fun to see something positive and truthful become the current zeitgeist.

Screw all the conservative dipshits whose masculinity is so fragile that they attack anything they don't understand but they perceive as threatening. They should go see Sound of Freedom again and keep their stupid opinions to themselves.

Long live Heavy Metal Ken!
