Thank God! Congress edition

This is pretty conclusive proof that there is no god and that these guys are delusional.

Earlier this year, the Republicans in Congress almost booted John Boehner as Speaker of the House.

Barely 36 hours after the caustic New Year’s Day vote, Boehner faced a coup attempt from a clutch of renegade conservatives. The cabal quickly fell apart when several Republicans, after a night of prayer, said God told them to spare the speaker.

If there was a god, rather than saving Boehner, he would have smote these asshats for being horrible, horrible people and intentionally sabotaging the country.

Aren’t you glad our government is in the hands of people who hear voices telling them what to do?
