Elkhartans never learn

The article below is about my home town. I've mentioned that President Obama visited four times to help the local economy, the eventual results of which were recovery and an economic boom before Trump took office. But my hometown in 2016 voted overwhelmingly (63%) for Trump.

Now we have this coming storm.

“The RV industry is better at calling recessions than economists are,” said Michael Hicks, an economist at Ball State University, in Muncie, Ind. Hicks says softening consumer demand for RVs coupled with rising vehicle prices due to tariffs suggests the economy is either in a recession or soon headed for one.

And yet, in 2020, the town will still vote for the Orange moron who is leading them right into the next recession.

The town motto is "The City with a Heart". Just, apparently, not a brain.
