A lot of people are commenting that this happened because a lot of teens trolled Trump by demanding tickets. This did happen, and it's funny because it completely screws up their data collection.
However, the K-pop fans and Tik-Tok teens didn't cause the small attendance. The Trump campaign wanted all of the data, so they didn't limit tickets. They could have literally sent a ticket to every person in the country if they'd wanted to, and they drew 6211 people.
They're claiming that protesters kept people away and blocked the gates. A small group of protesters stood in front of one entrance for about 15 minutes and were dispersed. The set up for the projected overflow crowd was taken down because there was no overflow crowd, because ultimately, in a city with 400,000 inhabitants in a state so deeply red that Trump won it by 39 points in 2016, he could only attract 6211 people to a venue that was sold out by The Wiggles.
Absolutely. I take the trolling by the Zoomers as a wonderful sign that the younger generation has had it with this jerk and as a hopeful harbinger of better things to come. But yes, they didn't depress turnout, Trump supporters depressed turnout by not showing up.
For such big, powerful folk with so many guns and much manliness, they do whine about protesters upsetting their plans a lot.

The Wiggles! :-)
And if you believe the reports, if you discount paid actors, staff, and campaign workers, the number of civilian supporters was around 1600.
