Last week, the United States finally launched the long-delayed, much anticipated James Webb Space Telescope, an infrared telescope able to image back to about 100 million years after the Big Bang. This mission was decades in the making and, if all goes right as it's deployed, will bring us a new understanding of the universe.
NASA has a really cool website where you can follow the progress of the JWST as it heads to its final orbital position and the platform is prepped for operation over the next several months.
