One of the things dementia does is remove the filter between your brain and your mouth, so you say things you wouldn't normally ever say. Can you imagine if any politician said this exact same thing in front of a MAGA crowd? They'd be tarred and feathered immediately. But Trump does it and they smile and laugh like imbeciles.
